Viola Davis makes a good point. The women we see on television are not everyday women. They don’t look like us or have the life that we have. With glamour being pushed like a new diet regimen, there’s no wonder that women feel the need to look their best at all times. Watching reality shows, you never see the women look fresh out of bed wearing a head scarf, the shower after washing off makeup, or a romp in the sack. They usually look fresh faced and bright eyed. When Annaliese Keating, took off her drawn on eyebrows, glued on eye lashes, contoured and highlighted makeup, and wig, she showed us who real women are. The women who come home from work take off their bras and take on their evening whether it’s a family, significant other or outside work project. She showed us real and for that we Thank Her. That’s who we really are when the world doesn’t see us and there is nothing to be ashamed about. Real Women Stand Up!
